The Feeling of the Castle
The Sunshine Bli Bli castle looks like it was a tower that used to have knights, kings, queens and you could also imagine it that it was once full of people who were dressed for the occasion.
As you enter the castle your children have access to a dress up box, where they can become part of the theme. They can become a king, a prince, a princess or even a joker. Getting into the feel of the era and they enjoy trying on all of the different dress ups sure helps the kids to start the tour off on the right foot!
Speaking of foot - make sure you have good walking shoes on because you will be walking up and down a lot of stairs, up towers and down again!
The feeling of the towers as you look over the Sunshine Coast area, is almost like a step back in time. You could almost imagine that you are a king. And that the Bli Bli Castle is your home.
If you are getting married the Castle has a reception hall which can be set up for taste. They have the most amazing decorating style, that sure will help to create the wedding of your dreams.
Birthday Party?
If you would like to have a Birthday Party at the Bli Bli Castle then they also cater for kids parties. The Castle ask that you book ahead, and that a minimum of 8 children attend the Party to make it a fun filled time.
Location of Bli Bli Castle
The Sunshine Bli Bli Castle is about an hour and half from Brisabane, as is located in Bli Bli - about 10 Minutes from Maroochydore.
There is plenty of parking spaces at the front of the castle (drive through the big gates!) and also wheelchair access into the main section of the Castle.
The Cafe is open when the Castle is open, and is free for you all those that are in need of a good coffee/food.
Toy Shop/Gifts - there is also a toy shop where you can purchase gifts that are based on the image of the castle!!
Many Displays - there are so many displays for the children to spend ages looking at...from Dorothy in the Wizard of OZ, to Russian Dancers, to Dolls, Smurfs, Trains, Little Red Riding Hood, Aladdin Caves, Nursery Rhymes...to many more displays.
The Castle is open every day from 9.30am - till 4.30pm unless they are closed for a private function. The Castle is not open Xmas Day!
Prices to get into the Castle start from $10.00, with many different family passes available - they even have a family pass for two adults and four children!
The hi-light of the Castle is the towers. There is a 24 metre lookout tower, which overlooks the Sunshine Coast.
On display is the chair that was used in the TV show called "Xena", and a Knight on a horse in full armour. In the Great Hall there is a harp, trophies and the theme of the king/queen looking down on their kindgom!
Make sure you have at least 2 hours up your sleeve to be able to see all there is on display in the Bli Bli Castle. If you want to see more information about the day our family experienced please visit New Life on the Road.com Bli Bli Castle information
