The major churches that worth visiting are - Se or St. Catherine’s Cathedral at Panjim, Church of St. Francis Assisi, just south-west of it, Chapel of St. Catherine, Panjim, Basilica of Bom Jesus, 9 kms from Panaji, Chapel of St. Xavier in Panjim, etc.
