Day 1 - Arrive Guiyang
On arrival
into Guiyang (the capital of Guizhou) you will be met by your friendly
China Holidays guide who will transfer you to your hotel for two nights.
Day 2 - Guiyang / Anshun / Guiyang
After breakfast
you will depart for a full day tour of the Huangguoshu Waterfall located
in Tianxing Park which is the largest waterfall in Asia. Stop by Stone
Village to visit the Buyi ethnic minority before drive to Tianlong
Village, where women still dress in traditional Ming Dynasty costumes.
After that you will be back to Guiyang. (B/L/D)
Day 3 - Guiyang / Kaili
Today your guide
will transfer you to Kaili which is the capital city of Guizhou’s
Southeast Autonomous Prefecture of Miao & Dong people along the
scenic mountain expressway. Those Miao people who moved to America and
Europe are known as Hmong people. Then go to visit the Matang Gejia
Village and the Kaili Museum. Your lunch will be arranged in the Miao
family. (B/L/D)
Day 4 - Kaili / Guiyang
After breakfast
you will return to Guiyang. On the way to Guiyang you will visit the
Qingman Village and the Shiqiao Village. Then there will be an
opportunity to see some traditional papermaking. (B/L/D)
Day 5 - Depart Guiyang
After breakfast
you will have some free time before visiting Jiaxiu Pavilion which sat
at a large rock in the middle of the Nanming River. The city borders
this peaceful and impressive site. Dating back over 450 years, the
beautifully carved eaves and lattice rest on an arched bridge which
spans the river. Viewing stone artefacts, statues and calligraphy,
Qingyan ancient town offers an insight into the extensive and detailed
military history of the areas as it was once a garrison and meeting
point for the army, predominantly during the Ming Dynasty. After that
your guide will transfer you to the airport for your onward flight.
