Day 1 - Arrive Hangzhou

On arrival into Hangzhou and after completing any necessary Customs and Immigration formalities you will be met by your friendly China Holidays guide who will transfer you to St. Rich Hotel or similar where you will stay two nights.

Day 2 - Hangzhou
In Hangzhou you will visit the Pagoda of Six Harmonies before a relaxing cruise on the West Lake. If time permits there will be a visit to a local tea plantation. (B/L/D)

Day 3 - Hangzhou / Wuzhen / Shanghai

After breakfast, departing for Wuzhen by road. Have a visit to the small water town of Wuzhen, with its historic buildings, canals, workshops and art galleries. Then travelling on to Shanghai to Ramada Plaza Gateway Shanghai or similar for three nights. (B/L/D)

Day 4 - Shanghai

After breakfast you will depart for a full day tour of Shanghai. Your day will include a visit to the Yu Gardens, the Old Chinatown and of course the Bund. Then over to Pudong to visit the Jin Mao Tower, one of the world’s tallest buildings, from where you will get a remarkable view of the city. In the evening you will have the opportunity to enjoy a cruise on the Huangpu River where after dark you will experience the ‘neon’ contrast of the ‘old’ and the ‘new’ Shanghai. (B/L/D)

Day 5 - Shanghai
We then make a visit to Xintiandi where unique 'Shikumen' houses dating back from as early as the 1860's have been carefully restored. Walking along the narrow alleys of Tianzi Fang will provide a taste of old Shanghai beside trendy boutiques, art galleries and coffee shops. After lunch, you will be dropped off at Nanjing Road to have a relaxed and leisure shopping afternoon. (B/L)

Day 6 - Shanghai / Qiandao Lake
In the morning take a coach to Qiandao Lake, upon your arrival, visit Yao Lin Wonderland. Then you will be transferred to Tianqing Island Holiday Hotel or similar where you will spend one night. (B/L/D)

Day 7 - Qiandao Lake / Mt. Huang

This morning there will be some free time to cruise the Central Island and then you will be transferred to the foot of Mt. Huang. Then you will depart for the Mt. Huang Scenic Area. Here you will take a cable car ride to view Lion Peak, the Cloud Pavilion, the Grand Canyon and the Bright Summit, stay on the top of mountain and check into Beihai Hotel for the night. (B/L/D)

Day 8 - Mt. Huang / Hangzhou
Try to get up early to catch the magical sunrise, afterbreak, take a cable down the mountain. You will visit The Tangyue Memorial Archway Cluster, which is made up of seven arches that commemorate the qualities of loyalty, filial piety, chastity and charity; Huashan Mysterious Grottos, where the 36 ancient man-made grottos in different sizes which has unique historical research and visual values. Then you will be transferred back to Hangzhou and speng the night at St. Rich Hotel or similar. (B/L)

Day 9 - Depart Hangzhou
You have a free morning. In the afternoon you farewell Hangzhou as your guide transfers you to the airport for your onward flight. (B)
