Sydney to Brisbane is a popular campervan itinerary to take in the
Eastern Australia. This trip can be taken through the Pacific Highway
(926 km), New England Highway (960km) or the Cunningham Highway ( 1,087
km).
For those embarking on a campervan trip its best to drive
via Pacific Highway, obviously it gives the shortest time to reach
Brisbane. But the best of it is the experience of the Sydney to Brisbane
coastal drive. It brings you the golden beaches of the central New
South Wales coast, the subtropical resorts of Northern New South Wales
and the world-class Gold Coast make this trip perfect for Campervan
travelers.
The route of the Pacific Highway passes through
Hornsby, Hexham, Kew, Coffs Harbour, Ballina, Tweed Heads, Beenleigh and
finally Brisbane.

October to April is the perfect time to go, it's the right time to catch blue skies and glowing beaches. The Pacific Highway also passes through towering forests and small communities. Suggested Campground between the Hexham to Kew trip is the One Mile Beach Holiday Park, it is an award winning caravan park located in the popular Port Stephens region, and it’s a few kilometers away from the Nelson Bay. Set alongside a popular patrolled surf beach, has excellent amenities and recreational facilities including mini golf, a tenis court, and a resort style swimming pool. What more? It is adjacent to the Tomaree National Park.
Another suggested campground is on
the route of Ballina to Tweed Heads, The North Star Holiday Resort on
Hasting Point has an impressive facility and you can't say anything
against their restaurant. It offers a beach in just a couple of walk and
there's a town centre to find just about 500 meters from the park.
