Have you noticed that these days everyone has the “busy syndrome”
You ask “how are you?” and you mostly get a reply – Oh I am so busy OR
“So sorry I haven’t emailed you or called I have been so busy”
Really who cares – we are all busy and it seems to be such an easy excuse these days.
What with Blackberrys, I phones , I pads, and laptops no one ever seems to take a break.
I say let’s go back to basics and ensure you always take at least one annual holiday. I always plan in January 2 family holidays per annum, 3 Romantic weekends per annum with my husband and whatever comes in between. What better way to get you through your busy syndrome but to know that you are going to have a break in 1 month or 2 months time.
Plan and talk to your travel agent about the dates you have and where you want to go – book it in and don’t cancel for any reason, this is your mental health time.
Don’t get caught up with what everyone says – it is boring and we don’t want a world of boring people talking about how busy they are when they could be talking about their fabulous holiday!
