To Go To Space / Or Not

Did we ever think that we will be travelling to Space as commercial passengers in the near future.

Well it is here and only 18 months away.

Virgin Galactic is the pioneer of Commercial Space Travel and Spencer Travel can sell you a ticket – we are Virgin Galactic’s accredited Space Agents.

On Monday 7th of December Virgin Galactic unveiled SpaceShip Two, the world’s first manned commercial spaceship to us all at Mojave Spaceport in California. What a spectacular experience and to be there to witness the Wright Brothers of Space Travel was amazing.

Safety is the biggest issue for Space Travel right now and Virgin Galactic are working to ensure that the tests they are doing on SpaceShip Two are taking it to its limit so there will be no chance of error.

Many of our future astronaut clients are asking us should they wait till the first commercial flights depart or book to be in the first 500 into Space.  Our advice is that if you want to be part of history, book now and also be accepted into a very elite group of people.  The events, launches and parties that you will be invited to once a deposit is paid are out of this world.  Imagine being at the Ice Hotel in Scandinavia sipping on Smirnoff vodka out of an Ice glass chatting to Richard Branson, or spending time on Richard’s own Necker Island to learn more about your flight.  These events like your Space flight are once in a lifetime experiences.

This is just the beginning, Spaceport America is being built in New Mexico where Virgin Galactic will establish its headquarters and operate it space flights from.  There are talks of hotels in Space and daily flights in the future.

I always say that my children – now who are 7 and 2 years old will be going to Space in their lifetime just like we go to Europe!

So get on the Space hype and be there early.
