When you're travelling around these days it pays to have travel insurance to cover you in case things go wrong. Checking out the Australian Government's Smartraveller site can give you a pretty good idea of the pitfalls out there (including getting your butt stuck in a toilet). So, when I started looking for travel insurance for my recent trip to Bali I was lucky to find the Travel Insurance Australia website. In a nutshell, it's a travel insurance comparison website with listings from different insurers. And to top it off, from the investigation I did it's substantially cheaper than going direct to the insurers. How they do that is anyone's guess but, as Rafa Benitez (Liverpool FC manager for those of you who don't follow football) would say, it's a fact.
